PREPERATION. Ask yourself, do I know EXACTLY how long my body needs to warmup? Do I know which muscle groupsI need to spend more time on than others? If you aren’t showing up early, to self stretch, and be sure you’re body and mind are ready to perform at their highest level…you aren’t paying enough attention to your warmup. Or maybe you’re okay with being average. Elite athletes know these things. They are ALWAYS using their warmup as a tool to find the mindset they need to compete against OTHER elite athletes. Starting paying attention. Your body will thank you.
